The NRLC Fall 2010 Regional specialty will take place on Saturday October 2 at The Colony Hotel in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine.
The Colony is a truly pet friendly hotel and Kennebunkport is a beautiful place to vacation especially since October is the height of Fall Foliage Season so I hope you can join us!
The Oceanside Porch(our Leo Lounge) at The Colony has a beautiful view of the Atlantic and The Colony's private beach where dogs are allowed! True Leo heaven!
The show itself will be held in the Carriage house which is heated and air conditioned so there are no worries about the unpredictable New England weather.
This is a conformation only show as there is room for only one ring in the Carriage house.

Volunteers:
To make this show successful, we are in need of volunteers to help with a variety of jobs. No experience is necessary. If you would be interested in Scribing, helping with registration, setting up or tearing down, please contact Robin Ruggiero at robinr322@comcast.net
Also please consider donating an item to the raffle table. These can be either brought to the
show or mailed to Robin Ruggiero in advance of the show. Please email robinr322@comcast.net if you will be donating.
If you decide to extend your stay:
There is so much to see and do it's difficult to choose just a few but here are some suggestions and how long it takes to "get there from here":
Kennebunkport - great little town to walk through, shop and site see, beaches are dog friendly all day in October(with beach monitors and bag dispensers to insure everyone picks up after their dogs)
Freeport, Maine - Home of LLBean(40 minutes)
Ogunquit, Maine and Perkins Cove(20 minutes)
Portland, Maine (30 minutes and a great airport to fly into)
Portsmouth, NH (30 minutes)
New Hampshire White Mountains(beautiful drive west on 109 to NH. Wolfeboro and North Conway are great towns to visit in this area about 1.5-2 hour trip)
Boston, Massachusetts(about 2 hours, can also fly here)
If you're really ambitious, there is no place as beautiful as Acadia National Park which is a scenic 4 hour drive up the coast that takes you through Rockland and Camden.
Acadia is very dog friendly(dogs are allowed off leash on carriage roads and certain beaches, outdoors at several restaurants and are also allowed on a schooner where they have 2 Newfs of their own)
We took ours there last fall and took them on a carriage ride with us!
